Having supported patients and their families throughout the lockdown period, we're working with a fantastic hospice in Yorkshire to find a talented Trusts and Major Donor Fundraiser. From the top down you'll find a clear vision and drive to raise essential funds to provide the very best palliative care and quality of life for patients.

As a key member of a friendly and supportive Fundraising Team, you'll be responsible for identifying and developing relationships with trusts and foundations in order to deliver the charity's ambition of doubling the number of people supported each year. You'll create and submit compelling cases for support, developing bespoke funding proposals and managing and identifying opportunities to grow major giving from both existing supporters and new prospects.

We are looking for someone who has a strong previous track record in Trust fundraising. You'll be able to demonstrate management of a pipeline of trusts and foundation applications including ongoing relationship management. Ideally, you'll also have experience of managing major relationships with individuals, although this could also be a great development opportunity for an experience Trusts fundraiser keen to widen their portfolio of skills into philanthropy.

You'll have a passion for palliative care and be able to demonstrate care and compassion in your approach.

Based in West Yorkshire with flexibility for homeworking. With the encouragement and support of a brilliant leadership team, there is opportunity for professional development too.
