Charity People are so pleased to be working with Auditory Verbal UK (AVUK), an award-winning national charity that transforms the lives of deaf children across the UK. They are looking for their new Trust and Foundations Manager to play a key role in the organisation's forthcoming capital campaign.

Job Title: Trust and Foundations Manager
Location: Bermondsey, London
Contract: Full time, with flexible working fully supported
Salary: £35,000-£40,000
Required: CV and Cover Letter

About the charity

AVUK is a wonderful charity, motivated by ensuring deaf children have the same opportunities in life as their hearing peers. Since 2003, they have supported over 1,000 families and over the next few years, they would like to double their reach of pre-school children and families supported by their early intervention programme, as well as grow and diversify its voluntary income streams. Based in Bermondsey, their office provides the opportunity to see beneficiaries first hand every day and you would work with their highly-committed and passionate team and closely with the Head of Fundraising to further its profile and influence, as well as meet ambitious fundraising income targets.

About the role

This is a really exciting time to join the organisation. They are looking for an experienced and successful Trust and Foundations fundraiser, who will be a key contributor in maximising the charities income by working on a forthcoming capital campaign. You will be developing and managing new and existing supporters by researching and writing excellent applications, managing long-term relationships using outstanding face to face and written communication and secure new multi-year and one-off gifts to contribute to the fantastic work they do. Auditory Verbal UK are looking for someone who has excellent networking skills, high-level written ability and effectively manage time and workload prioritisation. This is a really great role for the right person.
