Charity People are proud to be working in partnership with the incredible homelessness charity Cardinal Hume Centre to find a Senior Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser for their high value gifts team. This role will play a crucial role in securing funds through Trusts and Foundations, in particular to submit high quality medium and large grant applications to secure both single and multi-year grants from Trusts and Foundations to meet budget
Job Title: Senior Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser
Organisation: Cardinal Hume Centre
Location: Westminster, London
Contract: Permanent, Full time
Closing Date: Monday 22nd February 2021
Required: CV and Cover Letter
This role with the charity will play a critical role in the development of funds through Trusts and foundations, focusing on raising multi-year income from grant-making charitable trusts to meet a mutually agreed budget, inputting to and working within the Centre's fundraising strategy
The Cardinal Hume Centre was established in 1986. The charity runs fantastic services for homeless young people and families in need from the local community on one site, in Westminster. Nevertheless, it is so much more than a homelessness charity. The people they help are supported to gain skills and support to overcome poverty and avoid homelessness. They currently run six programmes ranging from a running hostel, employment and learning support, to immigration advice and advocacy. The Senior Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser will play a pivotal role in funding these programmes as well as other imperative services.
We are looking for an experienced Trusts fundraiser who is looking for a role where they can be the lead in securing the high figure gifts. We need a confident and dedicated Trust fundraiser with the ability to steward relationships with current Trust and Foundation partners including mid-grant updates and grant-end reports about work they fund. Furthermore, you will need to be able to strategically manage the work with larger Trusts and Foundations, including coordinating meetings, tracking actions and ensuring follow up, and hosting visits at the Centre (as covid restrictions ease). Lastly, if you have a strong track recording in raising income from Trusts and Foundations and proven experience of relational donor care to drive giving and donor loyalty, you will find this role exciting and hugely rewarding.
This role is fantastic. It's with a phenomenal charity looking to reach further young people who desperately need their services.
