Action for Children
For 150 years, Action for Children has provided support to meet immediate needs, to heal psychological wounds, tackle isolation, and to help children seize opportunities to change their lives for the better, for good. With more than 500 services in local communities across the UK, we improve the lives of over 300,000 children, teenagers and parents each year. Our vision is that every child and young person in the country has a safe and happy childhood and the foundations they need to thrive.
The Senior Philanthropy Manager will be responsible for driving forward activity to secure significant, multi-year donations from trusts, foundations and major donors, in order to support a wide range of organisational priority projects and services. The successful applicant will develop a robust major donor and trusts pipeline to maximise key areas of growth, and steward existing donors and volunteers to an exceptionally high level, so that they continue to support year on year.
The Senior Philanthropy Manager will lead a team of Senior Philanthropy Fundraisers, who each play a vital role in developing the higher end of the major donor and trusts pipeline, to maximise growth within the £150,000 to £multi-million bracket. The post holder will focus on building transformational supporter relationships with individuals and trusts capable of giving at the highest levels.
