Charity People is delighted to be working in partnership with Barts Charity to find an ambitious new Senior Major gifts Manager to join their small and impactful team and help develop partnerships which fund innovative medical research and ultimately save lives.
About Barts Charity
Barts Charity's vision is extraordinary healthcare for all. They develop and fund ground-breaking medical research, state-of-the-art equipment and innovative healthcare projects not otherwise funded by the NHS. Whilst projects are based in east London, they often have national and international impact.
Their work centres around Barts Health NHS Trust (which runs St Bartholomew's, The Royal London, Mile End, Whipps Cross and Newham University Hospitals) and the Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry (part of Queen Mary University London) where there are six medical research institutes.
Every year the charity generates funds totalling £30m, which are awarded to strategically important areas for their medical partners, making the team a nationally significant healthcare funder.
