Senior Major Gifts Fundraiser - £43,000 - £51,000 per annum + fantastic benefits

London based role.

Charity People are honoured to be partnering exclusively with Evelina London to find a new Senior Major Gifts Fundraiser.

As part of Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, Evelina London is the second largest provider of children's services in London and the first children's hospital to be rated outstanding by the Care Quality Commission. Our vision is to be a world-leading centre of life-changing care for the children of today.

Fundraising at Evelina London and Guy's and St Thomas' hospitals is ambitious and high achieving but there is so much more still to do. The Philanthropy programme is still relatively young and the post holder will be part of a dedicated team who are driving the current philanthropic fundraising programme for the hospital and developing and launching the next Evelina London Campaign to expand current facilities. This is a truly fantastic time to join.

We are looking for a Senior Major Gifts Fundraiser who is passionate about generating philanthropic funds that will enable Evelina London Children's Hospital to deliver ground breaking and lifesaving patient care to children and young people (from prenatal through childhood) and dynamic research into new treatments and models of care.

We are looking for an exceptional fundraiser and leader with excellent interpersonal and relationship development skills and the ability to be both a strategic and creative thinker.

The purpose of the role is:

* To generate significant six and seven figure gifts that will enable Evelina London Children's Hospital, via Guy's & St Thomas' Charity, in collaboration with King's College London to invest in dynamic research and clinical care that will improve the lives of patients, today and for future generations.

* To employ their significant and creative relationship building skills to personally inspire donors to give to the existing hospital and the upcoming Evelina London Fundraising.

* To plan strategies to increase major gifts from wealthy individuals at the level of £100,000 and above. To implement these strategies by building best-in-class relationships with these individuals and making powerful asks that will inspire six and seven figure gifts.
