Charity People are looking for a Senior Fundraising Officer to focus on Trusts and Foundations income for the wonderful charity SANE. This role will work closely with the Head of Fundraising in securing gifts through a warm portfolio and new business through prospective research.

This role is ideally suited to someone looking for a role in a close-knit team where you are hugely valued as a team member, but you get a family culture as well.

We are looking for a Trusts fundraiser with experience securing funds through a variety of Trusts and Foundations. You will need to be creative, ambitious for self and charity with a focus on trusts and individual appeals. As the charity is smaller, you will need to have the ability to work well within a team and independently, undertaking your own administrative tasks as required.

The job role will be develop and manage a growing portfolio of small, medium and large sized charitable trusts, establishing and building relationships through email, telephone, written proposals, progress reports and meetings. To identify, research and cultivate new trusts and grant givers using a variety of prospect research resources.

We are looking for someone who will be passionate about the cause. This phenomenal charity values its staff and gives them every chance to develop and grow through training and progression. The line manager is an experienced Trusts and Corporate manager and will be able to provide guidance, experience and knowledge to successful candidate. On top of this, they are happy to train this person in other funding streams if this is of interest.
