Charity People are working with an international, health charity based in Brighton looking for a Senior Advisor: Trusts and Foundation to have a specific focus on successfully generating new income for the international charity from a range of important grant making trusts and foundations (worldwide).

This charity has a focus on breaking down the legal, political and social barriers that marginalise people and increase their risk of acquiring this challenging illness and all related health issues. In this role, you will be providing crucial expertise that will enable the charity to fulfil their mission to work with communities through local, national and global action on all aspects of this torrid affliction and human rights. The charity works with communities across 40 countries, taking local, national and global action. The 26-year-old charity drives change where it matters, shaking up the status quo and making a noise on issues the world often chooses to ignore.

The ideal person will need to be an experienced and energetic fundraiser with a proven track-record of successfully securing six and seven figure gifts from a wide range of trusts and foundations. Also, ideally an experienced account manager with excellent communication skills and will react insightfully to meet the requirements and needs of their key partners and funders
We are looking for a committed team member with a clear focus on team objectives, as well as your own. You will promote best practice within your field of expertise and challenge ways of working to ensure the highest quality and levels of efficiency. Your actions will align with the charities vision and you will inspire the same behaviour in your peers. You will need to feel comfortable working in a matrix management environment.

A strong experience in Trust and Foundations is important; this role will elevate the successful candidate to huge opportunities for growth and development.
