This is not a typical Recruitment role.
Do you enjoy elements of recruitment but feel uncertain as to whether the culture and particular elements of the role (hi there weekly KPI's and sales/power hours) are for you?
Perhaps you have thought about leaving the recruitment world behind and moving to something completely different?
If so, before you do that please read on...
Charity People are looking for a driven and personable Recruiter to help Marketing and Communications professionals find their dream job.
Charity People is one of the country's leading not-for-profit recruitment agencies, we work with a wide range of charities and organisations across the UK including international NGOs, independent Charities, Hospitals, Schools and Universities. This particular role will focus on Marketing and Communications roles across London and the home counties.
We work in an environment where our staff enjoy coming to work, are given autonomy, encouraged to take a long term relationship led view, trusted to do a good job and trusted to make decisions about how to manage their desks.
We look for 'people people' who are genuinely motivated by making a difference and who like to work hard and achieve results alongside the fun stuff. When asked, 100% of our staff said they were 'very happy' working here, which proves it really is far away from your typical recruitment companies.
Just some of the soft benefits to work for us include three days volunteering for a charity of your choice per year, 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays and Christmas closure), quarterly days out (UK and beyond), and the opportunity to take a fully paid one month sabbatical after three years of service.
You will have experience placing Marketing professionals, with a passion for the not-for-profit sector and the impact it has on society.
Ideally, we are looking for a Recruiter who has experience of recruiting for non-profit clients, though this is not essential, so if you are a well-established Marketing Consultant we would be keen to hear from you.
You will be well organised, able to work independently and be a brilliant communicator. Although you will work on this desk on your own, you will be part of a wider team of 12 supportive, established and high performing colleagues.
Charity People are also big supporters of flexible working, which can be explored on a case by case basis.
We want our workforce to be more representative of all sections of society at all levels in the organisation. The range of perspectives and experience diversity brings is an asset and we want to create an inclusive, welcoming environment for our staff team, candidates and the charities we work with. We particularly encourage applications from disabled people and people from black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds, as these groups are currently under-represented in the charity and cultural sectors in which we operate.
