This phenomenal charity provides specialist dementia support for families through their Admiral Nurse service. When things get challenging or difficult for people with dementia and their families, Admiral Nurses work alongside them, giving the one-to-one support, expert guidance and practical solutions that people need. The unique dementia expertise and experience an Admiral Nurse brings is a lifeline - it helps everyone in the family to live more positively with dementia in the present, and to face the challenges of tomorrow with more confidence and less fear.
With a new Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships at the helm, Dementia UK are launching a new strategy in April with Philanthropy being a new area of growth. Since the summer they have been working on the groundwork for this programme and they now have a pool of warm prospects, an engaged events committee, and good connections to high net worth networks across the City and beyond. They now just need an exceptional Philanthropy Manager to build and grow these foundations.
This role will really suit someone who loves a very clear and tangible ask. It will be a great opportunity for someone who really wants to make the role their own, someone who enjoys creating special events and who loves to build relationships from scratch. You can really make your mark on a charity and make a real, tangible difference to the experiences of those living with dementia.
