Permanent role

Working in one of the most beautiful and sustainable offices, this is an exciting opportunity to help develop a strategy and oversee a programme to maximise a leading conservation charity's Ambassadors and Fellows. The role sits within the Philanthropy and Events team with a dotted line to the CEO office to ensure that relationships are developed and supported at the highest levels.

Their Ambassador and Fellows programme includes a wide range of influential individuals drawn from a variety of backgrounds and sectors, including business, academic, non-profits, entertainment and philanthropy.

We are seeking a tenacious and outstanding lead with experience in managing high profile individuals. In this role, you will:

* Create a strategy to align the Council of ambassadors fully with the charity's new ambitious strategy to restore nature.

* Implement a comprehensive and inspiring support programme which includes inductions, regular updates, briefings and events.

* Maximise the value of the Council of ambassadors and the organisation's Fellows by fully and thoughtfully utilising their networks, voice and influence for our cause, working across the organisation, and with a variety of stakeholder teams including media, celebrity and influencers, programmatic and fundraising teams.

* Work closely with the Head of Artists and Influencers to ensure our Ambassador strategy aligns with our Artists and Influencers strategy.

The Head of Ambassadors and Fellows will nurture and inspire existing and new influential volunteers (currently 27 members of the Council of ambassadors and 73 Fellows) and inspire them to be passionate advocates for their mission and work closely with the Artists and Influencers team who hold relationships with artist Ambassadors.

To succeed, you will have significant experience in managing and working with influential thought leaders, business leaders, academics and philanthropists. You will have the ability to work collaboratively, building strong internal relationships and maintaining a clear sense of organisational need.

We are looking for first class interpersonal skills, with high levels of gravitas, resilience and emotional intelligence - a person who can build rapport and respect from a wide range of talented people. This role requires an exceptional individual with a genuine passion for, and commitment to, the mission and values of this wonderful charity.
