Would you like to join the dynamic team behind the City of Trees movement, creating a greener and more resilient Greater Manchester? Environmental sustainability is hot topic right now with politicians and social change movements like the Extinction Rebellion making the case for action. We are looking for a talented Corporate Partnerships Manager with specialist knowledge and experience in strategic corporate engagement to seize the day and maximise opportunities for companies to get on board.
City of Trees has an innovative and exciting plan to transform the landscape of Greater Manchester by planting a tree for every person who lives here, bringing community woodland back and developing a woodland culture.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual, with great interpersonal skills who can sell the power of trees and woodlands to potential supporters and funders of the City of Trees movement. Someone who can confidently communicate the need for trees and woods across the urban landscape and make the case for successful investment in trees for Greater Manchester as part of the Northern Forest.
They've already laid the foundations for successful fundraising with a corporate membership scheme in place, leaving plenty of room for creativity and innovation to shape future fundraising strategy. There is also potential for growth in the fundraising team itself as income increases, so a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual to really make their mark.
Flexible, life and family-friendly culture; open to some homeworking with a small, happy and collaborative team waiting to welcome you.
If you care deeply about the future of our planet, please send a CV for lots more detail on this unique opportunity. Our North West consultant, Amelia Lee, is looking after this one: firstname.lastname@example.org
We are accepting applications on a rolling basis with a view to interviewing mid-late January so please do apply ASAP if interested to avoid disappointment.
