The Booth Centre is an innovative advice and activity-based day centre for homeless people in Manchester. Recognised nationally as a beacon of best practice, it's an inclusive space where people who use the Centre are centrally involved in the planning, evaluation, and delivery of the service.
Offering flexible working and an opportunity to increase support for positive change for people experiencing homelessness, we're looking for a talented Fundraising Manager for a maternity cover contract (expected length 12 months).
Working closely with the CEO, you'll be part of the Booth Centre's senior management team leading a small fundraising and finance function. Strategic, creative and a talented relationship-led fundraiser in your own right, you'll develop, implement and review the fundraising strategy to complement and enhance overall organisational objectives.
As part of a small team, this is still very much a 'doing' role so you'll still get a buzz from building fundraising partnerships and relationships. There's a diverse income portfolio including corporate partnerships, individual giving, trusts, community and events, which includes their flagship Sleepout.
About you: You're a motivating fundraising leader with a broad understanding of the fundraising landscape and specific expertise in securing and developing corporate partnerships and high value relationships. You're also an exceptional relationship builder who influences and inspires internal stakeholders, the fundraising team and the charity's supporters.
In return, the charity offers a collaborative, welcoming and supportive culture working with a specialist team who are incredibly passionate and dedicated to tackling homelessness. Fantastic benefits including breakfast and lunch, flexible working options and 10% pension contribution.
If you would like to help make a difference to the lives of people who are or threatened with homelessness in Manchester, please send a copy of your CV to Amelia Lee for lots more detail: email@example.com
Applications from people with a personal experience of homelessness would be welcome, but this is not a requirement.
Please note, final deadline for this role is 9am on 4th November, but we encourage you to apply ASAP if interested. Interviews to be held 11th November.
