Charity People are currently assisting a leading UK terminal illness charity with an exciting opportunity to join a brand-new team. This role, along with others like it across the UK, is being created to meet strategic priority of better engaging those with an experience of, and affinity to, the cause.

This national charity has a genuinely local service, staffed and used by the people of Cardiff. By better demonstrating this to the local community, the aim is to truly engage them and help generate the financial support we need.

As Fundraising Engagement Lead, you will build strong relationships with local staff, across both Caring Services and Fundraising and enable teams to work together more effectively. Externally, you will engage the wider community in Cardiff and Vale and beyond to show how crucial fundraising is for us to continue serving the community.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of quickly building relationships and credibility. You will be able to spot opportunities and act on them, adapting your approach as appropriate. You will be comfortable working with a high level of autonomy, but within the structures of a shared team strategy.

Flexible, life and family-friendly working with an organisation famous for its happy working culture. Based in Cardiff with some potential for homeworking too.
