Charity People are very happy to be partnering with a laudable International Development Charity in their search for a Funding, Grant Management and Programme Development Manager to join their outstanding Funding Team.

This organisation works to improve and protect all our lives, by preventing violent conflict worldwide. In working collaboratively with civil society, governments and international organisations it encourages and supports effective policies and practices which sustain peaceful resolutions. The Charity operates in 20 countries advocating for, researching and developing conflict prevention policies.

In your role as Funding, Grant Management and Programme Development Manager you will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with the organisation's East Africa and support teams, to develop high quality programme designs and to lead them on the production of successful applications to statutory, institutional and trust and foundations sectors. The effective fundraising team is seeking to achieve a balance between restricted and unrestricted funding, you will contribute to this goal and work closely with colleagues to develop annual funding strategies and monitoring objectives. You will be expected to develop strong programme designs and plans, produce successful and timely applications and application supporting documents, such as Theory of Changes and logframes.

We are on the lookout for earnest, experienced and enterprising fundraising professionals, with significant experience of leading, writing and co-ordinating high value proposals to statutory or institutional funders. With flexibility, an organised approach and meticulous attention to detail, you will be comfortable working with staff in different countries and time zones, and working to tight deadlines. You must have demonstrable experience of securing funds for high value six figure sums from the institutional or statutory sector, preferably in the international sector.
