If you're in the mood for a new and exciting role with one of the leading Mental Health charities in the UK, then this could be your perfect cup of tea. Charity People are recruiting a one year maternity cover (challenge and mass participation) Events Manager for them, to start in Feb 2020 and lead a team of 2 event fundraisers.
Sitting within the Community and Events team, with an annual turnover of £1.3M and oversight of their new virtual event, you'll have responsibility for delivering best in class stewardship and supporter development across the event portfolio. You will lead the research, analysis and development for their owned virtual event's second year, given that it quadrupled targets in its debut year there is plenty to learn from and build on. You will work closely with head of Community & Events Fundraising, and Head of Supporter Insight & Innovation in order to diversify the events portfolio and acquire new supporters too.
We are looking for someone with experience of having developed event programmes before, ideally with virtual events included. You will have had experience working in project groups with comms and data teams, be adept at identifying risk and opportunities with event development; have data briefs, content and copywriting experience, as well as line management experience.
You will join a high class team of 6 community and event fundraisers, in a tech-savvy office with hot-desking and (some) home working flexibility and a supportive and ambitious working environment. They are looking to pay £40,000 with a start date of mid-February.
