We're working with a unique Music Charity based in North London who use the power of music to transform the lives of adults and children.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to work for this wonderful charity to recruit a Digital and Social Media Officer to manage a range of online projects, from delivering engaging content for their website to managing all social media campaigns.

The Digital and Social Media Officer sits in a team that leads on all marketing and communications activity for The Charity; including PR, digital, public affairs, campaigns and internal communications. The post holder is responsible for creating engaging and relevant digital content for the charity and analysing success of this content according to performance indicators to ensure The Charity grow their reach and engagement across their digital channels. You will monitor social media channels and respond to day to day queries, using this experience to identify new opportunities for digital outreach. You will keep on top of social media and digital trends and use this to inform on The Charity's activity, leveraging earned and paid-for digital channels to supplement their own activity.

We are looking for someone with at least two years' experience in a similar role working with a proven record of success in digital communications.
You will have experience of producing social and digital media content and be able to demonstrate an understanding of what makes an effective digital and social media presence. Furthermore, you should have knowledge of how to analyse, summarise and communicate complex information in an easily accessible format, and judge relevance to the organisation and target audiences. In addition to this you must have a strong understanding of web optimisation.
