Database Manager
6 month contract
Cancer Charity
£45-47,000
London

Charity People are honoured to be working with a commendable Cancer Charity, currently searching for a knowledgeable and reliable Database Manager to drive the organisation's data strategy and help deliver ambitious customer engagement and income targets.

This wonderful Charity assists in creating world-class cancer services in the UK. They provide life-changing care and support to vulnerable patients, so that they do not have to go through an extremely difficult time alone. The organisation provides various services, hosts events and workshops, and brings people together, creating a supportive and transformational community.

As Database Manager you will develop and maintain the Charity's CRM database to ensure that it delivers the best possible information for teams across Fundraising and the rest of the organisation. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, helping them to scope and specify their requirements in relation to business process, data capture, data management and data analysis/reporting. You will have the opportunity to Line manage a small team of 3, driving them to deliver excellent performance in terms of service provision and responsiveness. You will also identify, plan and deliver Database team led projects, ensuring project briefs are agreed and deadlines and success criteria met.

This is a singular opportunity for a passionate professional, looking to manage and develop a team and work as part of a committed and effective Charity. We are looking for applicants with extensive experience of working with customer databases at a senior level and engaging with user communities to understand and improve business processes. You will also have proven project management experience of planning and delivering projects on time and within quality and cost targets, and be able to work and communicate effectively and comfortably with a diverse group of colleagues.

If you have the experience stated above and are interested in applying, please send your CV to Neil at neil@charitypeople.co.uk
