If you're a community or events fundraising professional looking to take a step up and develop fundraising program into something incredible then you should get in touch with us right away. Charity People are working exclusively with King's College Hospital Charity to recruit their new Community Fundraising Officer, who will lead on community (and events) fundraising for the Bromley area and wider Kent catchment area of the hospital.

Charity People are working exclusively with King's College Hospital Charity to recruit their new Community Fundraising Manager, who will lead on the strategy, growth and delivery of their growing programme. The Charity started its own in-house fundraising in January 2018 and its Community and Events Fundraising is now well established, but there is much more to do. We are looking for an ambitious fundraiser to help drive community & volunteer engagement, and new product development, from owned events to their wider 3rd party portfolio.

You will be empathetic and enthusiastic, confident in using your communication skills to develop new relationships, manage volunteers and engage with families of patients. There is plenty of scope to further develop work with both community groups and individual fundraisers too, prioritising the recruitment of volunteers to raise funds in their local communities, act as a representative for the Charity and support fundraising events.

This is an amazing opportunity as you will have incredible opportunities working alongside the medical team, enabling you to gain a first-hand insight into the life-changing work of the Princess Royal University Hospital.

This is a permanent and full-time role to be based from their office within the Princess Royal University Hospital in Bromley. It is paying £30,000 and we are looking for CVs and cover letters from all applicants. The application deadline is Monday 7th October, with Interviews taking place on
Tuesday 15th October.

Driving is not essential but is desirable.

We actively encourage people from ethnic minorities and LGBTQ+ Individuals to apply for this role. Charity People actively promotes equality, diversity and inclusion. We match charity needs with skills and experience of candidates, irrespective of age, disability (including hidden disabilities), race, religion or belief, gender, gender identity or gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, or sexual orientation. We do this because we know greater diversity will lead to even greater results for the charities we work with.

If you are not interested but know anyone suitable for this role then we do offer a £250 referral fee if successful.
