Charity People are working exclusively with King's College Hospital Charity to recruit their new Community Fundraising Manager, who will lead on the strategy, growth and delivery of their growing program. Only 2 years after the charity split from the umbrella fundraising organisation of King's College London, the basis for Community and Events Fundraising is now in place and working well, but in a reactive manner. We are looking for an ambitious fundraiser to help drive new product development, from owned events to their wider 3rd party portfolio.

You will be a self-starter, able to work autonomously to develop new relationships, manage internal and external stakeholders, have creative flair to think outside the box to evaluate and grow new ideas and fundraising opportunities. You will ideally have management experience, as will have oversight of two Community Fundraising Officers), as well as budget and financial planning, and strategy development experience.

There is plenty of scope to further develop work with community groups, and develop the reach with individual fundraisers too, prioritising the recruitment of volunteers to help with running events, collection tins and speaking to local groups.

This is an amazing opportunity as you will have incredible opportunities working alongside the medical team, enabling you to gain a first-hand insight into the life-changing work that the hospitals do. There is so much potential for you to shape this team and program as you see fit, and to your strengths - given its relative infancy, so we want someone with ambitious vision.

This is a permanent and full-time role to be based from their offices in Denmark Hill. It is paying £40,000 and we are looking for CVs and cover letters from all applicants. The application deadline is Monday 7th October, with Interviews taking place on Tuesday 15th October.
