Charity People are excited to be working with an amazing Charity addressing and advocating on a myriad of pressing issues in London and the surrounding regions, searching for a Business Development Manager to lead on the growth of new business and the establishment of viable social enterprises.

Salary: £35,496 per year - rising to £36,348 per year after successful completion on 9 month probation and 12 months continuous service.

This impressive institution works to address issues that affect the people they work with. This includes victims of modern slavery, women and children who have experienced domestic abuse, young care leavers and older people. They support people in a time of crisis to help them look to the future and effectively build a better life.

The organisation has set itself some ambitious growth targets and is looking to welcome someone to the team who will assist in exploring opportunities for growth, develop existing services and strategically manage relationships with key stakeholders. You will be responsible for leading on tenders for allocated geographical patches and types of service that meet the Charity's strategic objectives; finalise technical questions in PQQs and method statements in allocated submissions and work closely with Operations staff to develop staffing structures and service delivery models to ensure best outcomes for service users. You will also have the opportunity to engage with the mobilisation of allocated successful tenders from award to contract commencement, working with senior operations management and central staff.

We are looking for tenacious professional with strong communication and organisational skills and excellent written and presentation skills. You will have prior knowledge and understanding of safeguarding issues and ability to address them appropriately. Most importantly we are looking for a strong team player, eager to develop positive, helpful and collaborative relationships with both colleagues and customers.
