Lockdown has brought a number of serious issues to the foreground for society's most vulnerable; victims of domestic abuse and violence are at much greater risk at home with their abusers. We're looking for a talented and passionate HR Advisor to provide a friendly, efficient and professional HR service for a phenomenal Yorkshire charity working right on the frontline. You'll provide HR advice and support to managers and employees across the organisation, leading on HR projects and striving for continuous improvements in HR practices. At present, this is a standalone role within the organisation with a varied and interesting workload, so you'll need to be willing and capable of taking ownership and working independently. As well as the day-to-day work, there are often numerous projects underway at any one time. Who are you? * You're CIPD qualified or working towards with a solid track-record at HR Advisor level * You've got relevant charity or not-for-profit experience * A self- starter with a meticulous eye for detail and an aptitude for statistical data * Confident and competent in recruitment and selection processes, including conducting interviews and drafting documentation * Knowledgeable in UK and EU employment legislation, case law and the application of good practice * You provide friendly, professional HR advice and guidance and are able to influence at all levels This is a part-time role working 18.75 hours per week. Flexible life and family-friendly employer. For now, based from home with an expectation that you'd go back to an office at least 1 day each week when able.
