Are you someone with a passion to change the world? Do you think it's unacceptable that 1 in 3 families endure the heartbreak of losing a baby? Do you want to save babies' lives and give children the best start in life? If so, you may well fit right in!

There are 300,000+ reasons why Tommy's is important. That's the number of little lives lost through miscarriage, stillbirth and premature birth every year in the UK.

Our mission is to halve this number by 2030, and we're well on our way to achieving this. We're doing so by funding medical research and empowering mums and dads with cutting-edge pregnancy information.

To save babies' lives, our fundraising team is embarking on an ambitious growth strategy to raise £12m per annum by 2023. Our team is already innovative and high-achieving - over the last three years income has risen from £3.7m to £8m. But we're certainly not complacent and there is plenty more to do!

We have some large corporate and community partnerships, a significant presence at all the major challenge events, a consistent supporter care programme and an ever-growing trusts and major donors programme.

To support fundraising, we have a programme of cultivation events, the annual and much-loved Tommy's Awards, a case for support for each fundable project, and access to Tommy's centres and centre staff to connect prospective donors with the cause.

The latest jewel in our crown is the London Landmarks Half Marathon - Tommy's very own running event. The inaugural event in 2018 sold out in just 7 minutes, had over 10,000 runners take part and raise over £4.5million for charity including over £2 million for Tommy's.

Anyone joining this team will enjoy the benefit of a highly supportive Fundraising Director, CEO, board of trustees and a newly formed fundraising board.

The marketing team at Tommy's are a hard-working bunch; we are tasked with increasing awareness and familiarity of Tommy's amongst our target audiences, positioning Tommy's as a leading voice on stillbirth, miscarriage and premature birth, and reaching every pregnant woman in the UK with expert and evidence-based pregnancy advice to help them have a safe and healthy pregnancy.

Our creative team of digital, marketing and health information experts are already achieving great things, with huge growth across our digital platforms (website traffic up 75% year on year, to around 750k unique monthly users), and the success of recent campaigns (with #TogetherForChange and #SleepOnSide each reaching 20m+ people).

We have big ambitions for the future, including increasing the focus on our research achievements in our communications, and developing a best in class supporter and user journey for everyone who comes into contact with Tommy's. Integrated fundraising projects, led with marketing expertise, are key to achieving our objectives, and we are going to be working with our fundraising colleagues more closely than ever before.  It's a really exciting time to be joining our team.

To finish...

For everyone here it's more than just a job. We all truly want the same thing: a world where pregnancy and birth is safe for all and babies have the healthy start they deserve.

We like to think Tommy's is a little different from most other charities and a bit special. We are relatively small, but we think and deliver big! We are focused and professional in meeting our goals, but it's important to me that everyone maintains a healthy work-life balance and feels well looked after.

But don't just take my word for it. Our annual staff survey (completed by 75% of employees) reports that 95% say their department operates with integrity, their director provides good leadership, the facilities meet their needs, and their line manager recognises when they do a good job.

I hope you will consider applying and joining the Tommy's family.
