Steven Buckfield, Account Executive - Fundraising, Marketing and Communications
Steven has over 16 years recruitment experience, the last two and a half of those in charity and third sector recruitment. He has recently joined People Unlimited and came to us because of our strong name in the market. He has worked on recruitment projects for many memorable brands such as Comic Relief, Nokia, Sony and the M.O.D.
He has a diverse set of interests, including drawing, oil painting and photography, and is a graphic novel nut! He is also a martial arts instructor, training children and adults most evenings a week.

Julian Smith, Recruitment Advisor - Permanent Division
Julian joined the team at People Unlimited in 2001, making him our longest serving consultant. He offers a wealth of recruitment experience to small and large organisations alike. A specialist in Professional Membership Bodies, he understands the nuances of terminology and can drill down to the core of a job specification to find you the perfect member of staff or the career that best suits your interests and passions.

Claudio Vedovelli, Account Executive - Permanent Division
Claudio has been working as a recruiter for more than five years in both the commercial and charity sectors. He started his career in recruitment in Italy where he worked for a international company dealing with industrial and commercial roles. In 2006 he was given the chance by his company to transfer to England where he could make the most of his global experience and knowledge. He successfully started up and ran a brand new desk working with legal firms in Central London.
After gaining sound experience in the UK recruitment market in February 2009 Claudio decided to take on a new challenge working for People Unlimited in the not for profit sector. He now deals with a wide range of charitable organisations
helping them with their recruitment for junior office support positions.
In his spare time Claudio likes travelling, swimming and reading history books.

Lisa Ashton, Account Executive - Temporary Staff Division
Lisa has worked in recruitment for over 8 years, mostly in the not for profit sector. Lisa’s experience is wide reaching, having recruited at all levels for both temporary and permanent positions.
Lisa is incredibly passionate about what she does and is always happy to offer advice to either candidates looking for that perfect temporary role or clients looking for the perfect person to join their organisation for a short period of time.
Lisa originally studied psychology at Newcastle University, after which she went abroad to teach English, both in Thailand as a voluntary worker and later in Japan.
After returning from travelling Lisa worked in commercial recruitment for a short while before moving into HR. This gave her a valuable insight in to what it was like to be on the “client side” but she missed the fast pace of recruitment too much. She joined People Unlimited in 2006 and has never looked back!
In her spare time, Lisa volunteers and fundraises for The Motor Neurone Association - a charity close to her heart.

LJ Loftus, Account Executive - Temporary Staff Division
LJ works on temporary and interim roles for People Unlimited. She's an energetic and helpful consultant, who recently won Consultant of the Year 2009. LJ will go out of her way to help both clients and candidates across the charity and not for profit sector in London.
She has responsibility for People Unlimited's social media projects and launched us on Twitter in Spring 2009, providing regular updates, tips and banter, as well as being a fantastic source for job hunters.
LJ studied English Language and Linguistics at the University of York and spent her term time helping RAG ‘Raising And Giving’ by doing sponsored hitchhikes to Scotland and Ireland and taking part in the occasional fancy dress. After a solo round-the-world trip through Asia, Australasia and South America she moved to London and embarked on learning and developing her knowledge of the not for profit sector through People Unlimited. LJ currently volunteers for Beatbullying as a Senior CyberMentor.

Mark Walker, Account Executive - Temporary Staff Division
Mark works on the temporary desk for People Unlimited, with a focus on roles in political organisations. He has recently joined the team having spent the majority of his career in recruitment in the commercial sector. Before that, he worked in Westminster.
Mark volunteers for a number of organisations and has befriended a gentleman with Apergers Syndrome for over six years. Away from work, voluntary or otherwise, he is a keen runner, running the London Marathon in 2009 and enjoys football and cricket. He also has an unhealthy passion for Morrissey.
