Those in charity jobs urge government to be aware of autism-Charity job News

People working in charity jobs have urged the new government to maintain momentum on a recent awareness campaign.
The UK Autism Foundation (UKAF) is rallying support from members of the public and encouraging them to write to the new prime minister and his deputy, Nick Clegg.
Work began in 2000 on the Autism Awareness Campaign but staff from the organisation believe more needs done to continue its achievements.
Many people are struggling with the condition and are finding it difficult to access the services and benefits they require to maintain a good lifestyle, adding: "Her Majesty's government needs to do so much more for parents, carers, children and adults with autism and Asperger's Syndrome in our country."
The UKAF has also recently asked for help in looking after older generations with autism - it claims population increases over the next few decades could leave some people suffering unnecessarily without sufficient care.
