Stem cell research into pain management in those suffering from arthritis has "excited" some professionals in charity jobs.Jane Tadman from Arthritis Research UK said new findings could help people with osteoarthritis and painful joint problems. She added: "We need to be clear that this is just the start of developing this technique and it could be a few years before such treatment will be in routine use."Current solutions for medicating those with arthritis are rare and a new national tissue engineering centre could be announced soon to further this type of trial, Ms Tadman continued. Her comments come after the charity announced that a new trial was being carried out to use stem cells found in bone marrow to repair worn cartilage in the knee. The study is said to be the first of its kind in the UK and could throw "a potential lifeline to millions of sufferers in the future".People Unlimited are specialists in recruitment for Charity Jobs
