People interested in finding arts and media jobs in the north-west might be interested to note that a piece of art renowned in some of the world's most cosmopolitan cities is now in the region.
The Play Me, I'm Yours exhibition - which was created in 2008 by British artist Luke Jerram - has gone down a storm in the likes of Barcelona, London and New York and is now present in public places in Burnley, Blackburn and Darwen, which could help create more arts jobs in the region.
The display - which runs until July 29th - involves 24 pianos being placed in locations ranging from libraries to bus stations and the instruments are intended to be for anyone of any age who wants to express themselves through music.
Meanwhile, three new distinctive arts spaces were launched in the London area of Peckham last month in a project funded by the Arts Council.
