Junction Arts to hold community participation day-Arts jobs News
03 Aug 2010
People with arts jobs in Derbyshire and beyond may like to head to the county this autumn to attend a participatory day hosted by Junction Arts, an organisation funded in part by the Arts Council England East Midlands.
The event - which is due to take place on October 14th between 10:00 and 16:30 BST at the Langwith Community Hall - has been designed to help industry professionals develop and extend solo practices into this "important arena".
Furthermore, an especially-invited guest artist will, in collaboration with members of staff from Junction Arts, be leading the day's activities.
Interested parties have been asked to forward their particular practice, contact details, their current CV and a statement regarding how these proceedings will benefit their overall artistic development by September 6th in order to participate.
Earlier projects put on by the group included Drawing the Way, which saw more than 360 people contribute to an interactive piece relating to Creswell Crags.
