Green recruitment for solar panel fitting could go up

Green recruitment for more jobs that involve knowledge of solar panels and ways homeowners can reduce their carbon footprint could be in demand over the coming years.

British Eco Energy recently commented on the subject of green improvements after the government announced that tariffs for small-scale adjustments such as this have now been finalised for introduction on April 1st this year.

As well as being a good investment financially, solar panels on a residential property can help those who want to become a bit greener, managing director Andrew Moore said.

In addition to sun-powered systems, more people will opt for wind turbines as well, he suggested.

"Obviously they aren't as easy for ordinary homeowners to put up - they work well for farmers or landowners of brown field sites."

Mr Moore also said that the government's plans take renewables from being something only "very wealthy" consumers can purchase to a widely-accessible option.
