Funding boost for charity jobs in Liverpool-Charity job News

People working in a number of charity jobs in the north-west may be celebrating a recent award.
Organisers of the Liverpool Arabic Arts Festival have been presented with the Arab British Culture and Society Award 2010 - after receiving £153,818 from the Arts Council.
Manager of the event Ngozi Ikoku said the company is "honoured" to be chosen for the prize and participants will continue to promote Arabic culture around the area.
Chair of Liverpool Arabic Arts Festival Taher Qassim MBE added: "It is a testimony both to the enterprise of the Arab community within the city and the energy of the city as a whole that this festival continues to grow year after year."
Venues across the town will participate in the festival between July 2nd and 11th.
Meanwhile, charity trustees in Birmingham may have been involved in the reopening of mac - a building comprising a cinema, workshops, a café, media suites and two theatres among other facilities.
