Charity recruitment ''vital to eliminate child poverty''-Charity recruitment News

Charity recruitment could be the biggest driver behind helping to ensure that child poverty becomes a thing of the past.
Joshua Fenton-Glynn, a spokesperson for the Child Poverty Action Group, suggested that it is more important than ever for parents to receive adequate support in the task of raising a family.
Following the government's decision to slowly withdraw tax relief on childcare vouchers, he said policymakers should "be careful with key public services for people with no income to use".
Regarding the problems that can arise if punitive benefit reforms are introduced, Mr Fenton-Glynn added: "It makes it more difficult for parents to enter the employment market if they don't have childcare [support]."
According to a recent survey by Computershare Voucher Services, 98 per cent of parents surveyed disagreed with the government's decision to phase out childcare vouchers.
Furthermore, it found that 57 parents cannot continue their current arrangements for looking after their children without the state's support.
