People on the lookout for charity jobs may be interested in the comments of an expert, who addressed the importance of research into mental health issues.
The remarks follow the release of a study which speculated on the ways in which individuals can reduce the likelihood of developing dementia.
Timothy Parry, spokesperson for the Alzheimer's Research Trust, said that more studies need to be carried out before any solid conclusions can be reached.
He said: "The most compelling evidence we have for reducing dementia risk is the adoption of a healthy diet and exercise – what's good for the heart, is usually good for the head."
Nevertheless, Mr Parry did not rule out the possibility that brain exercises could potentially have health benefits.
Previously, the organisation found that 700,000 people in the UK have dementia - costing the UK economy £17 billion per year.
Additionally, there is no cure yet known for such mental health problems.
