Charity careers could be boosted by Make a Will Fortnight-Charity recruitment News
05 May 2010
Opportunities for charity careers could be increased after this year's Make a Will Fortnight campaign.
The Duchess of Kent House Charity (DoKHC) has arranged for local solicitors to write the documents in return for a cash donation to the organisation.
A discounted fee of £100-£150 is suggested for standard wills but the professionals can advise on how much would be appropriate if circumstances are more complicated.
People looking to help the DoKHC can schedule a meeting with participating representatives during May 10th and 21st or at a convenient time outside these dates, as long as the Make a Will promotion is mentioned on booking.
Meanwhile, staff at the DoKHC have planned a dining and driving event on May 10th.
Supercar fans can take motors from Jaguar, Aston Martin and Lamborghini for a lap before enjoying a Michelin-starred meal and charity auction.
Money raised will go to the DoKHC and the Alexander Devine Children's Cancer Trust.
