People in care jobs catering to teenagers need to work with other social care groups to ensure messages are getting through to all youngsters, regardless or gender or sexuality. This is the advice from Peter Bradley, deputy director of Kidscape, who spoke out after the Home Office published details of a new advertising campaign intended to reduce the incidence rate of domestic violence in teen relationships.Aimed at 13 to 18-year-olds, the adverts include television commercials - directed by Shane Meadows - along with radio ads and posters. They are intended to make teenagers think through the balance of power in their own relationships. But Mr Bradley, while praising the motives behind the campaign, said that it appeared it was focused on young women rather than all youths."[We] have an important role to fill - by presenting loving, violence free relationships we can nurture our teenage children to adopt the same important values," he added.People Unlimited are specialists in recruitment for Care Jobs
