Offering flexible working and the ability to work up to two days from home, we’re looking for an experienced Finance Director to work for an ambitious and growing charity committed to a happy workforce and healthy culture. Providing advocacy, wellbeing, carers services and counselling, this charity currently has 150 staff and is in a healthy financial position with a growth mindset for the future.
You’ll have responsibility for financial planning, reporting, budgeting, IT, and statutory compliance. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Finance Director will also be a member of the senior management team with a reporting role to the Audit Committee and Board of Trustees.
Managing a team of five, you’ll be a motivational and empowering leader who can drive results through people. You’ll need a professional accountancy qualification, substantial experience of budgets, forecasts, management accounts and all aspects of financial programming. We’re looking for someone who can demonstrate business and continuous improvement in previous roles.
Experience of SAGE 50 or 100 would be a bonus. Charity sector experience would be useful, but not essential.
