Our client is an Animal Welfare charity based in Surrey who are currently looking to recruit a strong Direct Marketing professional to come in and take a lead on the strategic direction and growth for the individual giving and legacy programme. The Charity have ambitious plans to increase individual giving by 50% within 4 years and you will be at the front of this major project.
Your role will involve developing and delivering all initiatives for the recruitment, retention, conversion and development of donors. Channels used include direct marketing, online media, social media, display advertising and telephone fundraising. You also implement strategies to ensure the growing database of donors and supporters receive world class standards of care and stewardship. Furthermore, you will ramp up and drive the legacy marketing activity. This role has 5 direct reports and indirectly oversees 5 more members of the team (so 11 in the team including this role).
We are looking for someone with a wide range of experience in direct marketing, individual giving and leadership abilities. You should have proven experience of using marketing and fundraising techniques to recruit new donors, excellent project management skills, demonstrable experience of developing and delivering a strategy and an ability to pioneer new ideas.
