I’m recruiting a Fundraising Officer (Trusts and Foundations) on to work on a three month fixed term contract with a wonderful charity who help homeless and disadvantaged people across London.
This post will focus primarily on Trusts and Foundations as well as to support Corporate fundraising. Duties include helping to sustain and increase income from trusts and corporates by identifying and researching new donors; managing existing donor relationships; maintaining a timetable for approaches and producing funding proposals and reports. The successful candidate will take responsibility for effective and efficient research and information gathering on project developments, and for excellent and timely communication of this information externally and internally.
You will manage a portfolio of small-medium Trust and Corporate donor relationships and a trust programmes whilst researching and cultivating new donors with a particular focus on medium-large ones. The successful candidate will have support with some corporate fundraising and will be expected to also pick up on administrative duties for the fundraising team. Naturally, you will bring a wealth of working knowledge of securing donations from Trust and/or corporate donors, legal frameworks of charity fundraising and be a strong negotiator.
The salary will be based on £30,000 per annum. This role has the potential to become permanent to the successful candidate.
There is scope for the remote working 1-2 days per week for this job, following a few weeks in post.
