Charity People are excited to be working alongside a historically established social welfare Charity in searching for a forward-thinking Learning and Development Manager to join their growing organisation.

You will be a key member of the People Team, supporting the organisation by identifying, developing, implementing and evaluating learning and development solutions, maximising the organisational growth plans and people capability within the organisation.

Your main duties will include:

• Support the Head of OD and Programme management to develop and execute the L&D Strategy across the Charity
• Support the delivery of L&D initiatives through the design and delivery of programmes or sourcing appropriate solutions, and identifying preferred provider relationships
• Review, monitor and facilitate strategic L&D initiatives to ensure they remain in line with best practice and enable new skills to be embedded
• Work with the business to help managers develop their team members through the training framework, supporting skills development to future proof our business
• Take ownership for the online training platform, ensuring it meets the needs of the charity and employees are engaged in it as a source of learning
• Propose, manage and track the L&D budget and manage supplier relationships

We are looking for applicants with CIPD level 7 or equivalent experience; experience delivering training and coaching; and excellent interpersonal, communication, influencing, negotiation and facilitation skills.
