Charity People is heading up the search for a visionary supporter engagement specialist who puts stewardship and supporter journey at the heart of everything they do. This is a brand new career-defining role paving the way for how this national charity nurtures and stewards existing supporters through creative, individual and tailored donor journeys.
You’ll design, develop and implement a strategic donor engagement, stewardship and recognition programme, building and enhancing special relationships for continued and increased giving. Working collaboratively across the wider fundraising team with particularly strong links to supporter care, individual giving and major gifts, you’ll analyse existing supporter stewardship, establish and enhance best practice and ensure donors receive exceptional levels of service and care.
To apply for this role, you’ll be a passionate advocate and champion of stewardship, ideally from an individual giving or donor development background with experience of designing and implementing operational processes that improve income generation through supporter engagement.
We’re looking for an analytical and strategically minded individual with previous experience of creating tailored journeys across the donor spectrum from lower-level supporters right through to individuals giving at £5-10k. Working across the fundraising team up to Director level will require a collaborative, open working style and a proven track record of liaising, engaging and influencing internal stakeholders.
Flexible, family and life-friendly organisation with an unparalleled reputation for staff engagement and loyalty. The role can be based from home or a range of local offices/centres including Glasgow and London. Excellent benefits package and huge investment in professional development.
Salary is £27-37k with up to £5k London weighting.
