Director of People
Charity People are excited to be partnering with an innovative Youth Charity in their search for a Director of People to join their enthusiastic team.
As Director of People you will be responsible for creating a new strategy for the recruitment and retention of staff and volunteers, ensuring that the organisation hires great people and delivers the best possible service to its beneficiaries. You will be part of the Senior Leadership Team and report directly to the Chief Executive Officer, managing a team of staff across two locations. You will work collaboratively with the team to develop and promote the Charity's organisational culture; represent the organisation at internal and external events; take the lead on developing and retaining talent within the organisation and work alongside the organisation's supportive Board of Directors.
We are looking for strategically-focused applicants; qualified via experience or CIPD qualified, with considerable leadership experience of designing, delivering and evaluating people strategy, plans and budgets. The ideal candidate will have abundant generalist HR skills, and demonstrable experience providing high quality advice to leaders, managers and staff. You will be a dynamic team player, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. This role affords the possibility of working from home.
