You are encouraged to become immersed in the work of the charity and will be encouraged to go out and meet with hospital staff and visit projects to see their wonderful work first hand.

About the Role
Their inspiring Head of Major Gifts is looking to recruit a brand new Philanthropy Manager to join their growing team and lead on high level major donors and trusts and foundations. No two days will be the same as you will work on a variety of capital appeals and will manage a portfolio of donors throughout the country across both major donors and trusts. You will be cultivating relationships with incredibly high level donors including senior level volunteers who have been giving for years, some even decades! You'll be encouraged to be out and about, meeting donors, going to conferences, learning new things and seeing different projects so you won't be chained to your desk!

Who are we looking for?
Someone fab! You'll be sparky, proactive, intuitive and passionate. You will have outstanding communication skills and will be a sensitive and caring individual. You will love building relationships and will be able to spot opportunities for growth. You'll be tenacious, compassionate and a real go-getter with previous major gifts experience, ideally having brought in 5 figure gifts.
