Charity People are thrilled to be working with this forward thinking International Charity in recruiting for an established Finance Manager to join their dedicated team.

The Charity is committed to providing international medical emergency care and disaster assistance to persons, irrespective of their nationality, race, religion, sexual orientation or political affiliation; its projects include providing essential medical goods and equipment, staff training and ambulance stations to several countries.

As Finance Manager you will be tasked with supervising the day to day financial affairs and processes of the Charity; administering accounts payable function; liaising with suppliers as necessary and monitoring cashflows to ensure the organisation is able it to meet its obligations. You will assist with the development and production of monthly financial reports as well as working with auditors to ensure accurate production of annual financial statements. You will have to work alongside a Database Manager to ensure that all donations are correctly uploaded from Raiser’s Edge to Sage and reconciled; and ensure that declarations and gifts are correctly processed. In the role you will act as supervisor to a part-time bookkeeper and report directly to the Chief Executive.

The successful candidate will ideally Part / fully qualified accountant (CIMA/ ACCA) or qualified by experience. Have proven experience in Sage 50 up to accounts production and advanced Excel skills. You will have to be highly numerate and detailed oriented and be capable to work successfully both alone and as part of a team.
