We are proud to be working with Action For Children to recruit a Community Fundraiser for their Beds, Herts and Bucks region. This is an amazing opportunity to become part of a charity which does what's right, does what's needed and does what works for children across the UK. Every year, their team changes the lives of 370,000 children, young people and their families – but for every child who needs help to get help, there's plenty more to do.

You will manage projects and activities across the region in conjunction with the Senior Fundraiser, whilst building and managing efficient and effective relationships and communications with donors and volunteers to raise funds for Action for Children as effectively as possible.

There's plenty of scope for growth and personal development within this role and the team, so we're looking for an ambitious and driven individual with a penchant for communication, relationship management and great organisational skills.

You'll need confidence in your ability to work with the local community: local corporates, individuals, local community groups and church partnership. As well as previous experience of developing and managing relevant activities or projects, and successfully communicating (both verbal and written) with a variety of audiences. You will also need access to a car, although the role is based in Watford the geographical region covered will be Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire

They are looking to pay circa £22k per annum
