We are working with a pioneering cancer charity who have helped double survival rates in the last 40 years. Every step they make towards beating cancer relies on every pound, every hour and every person, and their 3,500 people work relentlessly every day towards this goal.

Their Philanthropy team are a bubbly, dedicated and talented bunch and work in a really collaborative, driven and fun way. This role will be leading and managing a team of 8 fundraisers whose focus is on cultivating and stewarding high net worth individuals with the capacity to support at the £10k-£100k level, including the development of an ambitious, donor-led and collaborative culture.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead, coach, motivate a team of 8/9 fundraisers through effective line management. Provide leadership for the team of canvassers, ensuring that the team is responsive, collaborative and agile.
• Set clear objectives for the team, drive results and manage performance. Ensure team are meeting their financial targets, KPIs and are driving value for wider teams.
• Supporting the team with their approaches to current donors and new prospects.
• Contribute to the Philanthropy & Campaign fundraising strategy in the context of achieving the department’s objectives and targets
