Calling Programme Finance Officers! Do you have international not for profit Finance experience? Then this is the role for you!
Charity People are excited to be working with an Environmental Not for profit organisation with their search for a Senior Programme Finance Officer. The organisation based in East London are dedicated to promoting the conservation and sustainability of the Earth through policy and advocacy.
The role will involve the following:
• Supporting the Senior Programme team members with preparing programme budgets, projecting allocation and identifying programme funding requirements.
• Be responsible for drafting and maintaining grant budgets for projects.
• Managing all the financial administration for the grant or donor funded projects.
• You will prepare and analyse grant and project reports and reconcile all expenditure.
• You will be ensuring grant invoicing, reporting and audit requirements are always being met.
To be considered for the positions you will:
• Sufficient relevant experience in a similar capacity for an international NGO or Charity.
• Demonstrable experience of financial administration for portfolio of grants.
• Experience of preparing budgets and grant financial reports (from trust, foundations and institutional donors such as DFID and EU).
• Experience and knowledge of donor funding and compliance.
• Excellent Excel and numerical skills.
• Strong communications skills are essential.
