Fantastic opportunity to join this wonderful Children's Health Charity in Central London. We are looking for a Marketing and PR Officer to come in and work on a variety of exciting campaigns to drive brand awareness of the Charity. Working with the Head of Communications and the Senior PR and Marketing Officers, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a successful communications programme to increase public awareness and understanding of the Charity. You will also use your initiative to grow campaigns and fundraising activity through social media, publicity and marketing, working closely with teams at their London Head Office and Regional Offices.
Managing the Charity's social media channels, developing engaging content to inspire supporters
Reporting on press activity to measure impact
Working with our Community Fundraisers on press releases to secure maximum publicity for fundraising activities
Designing marketing materials
Managing merchandise and promotional items, working with agencies
Supporting Special Events and Corporate teams with celebrity liaison
You will have experience of working in a marketing, PR or communications role within a relevant organisation, such as a charity or agency. Keen to take on new responsibility and some project management in your role, you must be confident managing your own time and prioritising tasks and activities to meet deadlines. You must be a team player who is able to work collaboratively across teams, sharing ideas.
You are also a pro-active individual who has a flexible approach to work and has excellent writing skills, attention to detail and organisational skills. This role will have direct contact with service users, so being able to work with sensitivity and empathy is essential, as is the ability to develop positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
