We are working with a charity that actively protect parks and green spaces, they are seeking a successful and experienced Trust & Major Gift Manager to join their team.
This charity are launching a new strategy in 2018, as well as a new brand and refreshed look to their website! Reporting to the Chief Executive you will be responsible for all aspects of stewardship relating to both trust and foundation and major donor income. First and foremost, the main area of experience we are looking for is within trusts fundraising. Extensive fundraising experience and knowledge is essential as you will be working on a variety of funding streams, including researching and sourcing grants from trusts and foundations and establishing professional relationships with high net worth individuals and other prospective funders in order to hit fundraising targets.
The perfect candidate will have a successful track record of effective fundraising and meeting or exceeding income targets and understanding of broader fundraising and the charity sector. You will have excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to construct and complete compelling funding proposals to engage a variety of audiences.
