The Air Ambulance Service (TAAS) is a leading emergency healthcare charity dedicated to saving lives, and due to organic growth they are seeking an enthusiastic and talented Digital Marketing and Fundraising
Manager.

Their expert rapid response teams have completed thousands of missions since the charity was born into inception, saving thousands of lives. As a charity they receive no government funding and provide their services free of charge, thus relying on public donations to fund their work. This dynamic, hugely impactful charity is now expanding their marketing team, with the objective of developing their brand (including Children’s Air Ambulance), increasing awareness and revenue and thus growing their capabilities and services as a charity. Based in the heart of London or alternately in Rugby (where the main HQ is), this role comes with the opportunity to leave a legacy and make a huge difference to the charity saving lives.

About the Digital Marketing and Fundraising Manager role

The role will involve Digital Marketing, Campaign Management, Resource Management, and Strategy & Analysis, including but not limited to:

Develop strategies and bring about improvements in:
Search Engine Marketing (SEM)
Including Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
Pay-per-click advertising (PPC)
Including:
Google AdWords
Google Grants
Also ensuring prominence in search results for vital moments such as campaigns
Email marketing
Including stewardship
SMS
How we use SMS to grow our audience and solicit donations
Marketing on social media
Working alongside Social Media Manager on this


Display advertising
Determining and optimising use
Identify trends and insights, and optimise digital marketing spend and performance based on those general trends and insights
Work with data team to optimise Digital Marketing benefit from audience data
Implement conversion points and optimise user funnels
Plan, execute, and measure experiments/conversion tests
Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimise user experience
Utilise analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
Collaborate with agencies and other partners to optimise digital marketing impact
Evaluate emerging technologies – providing thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
Compile and report on online donation stats and analytics
Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals to be developed (ROI and KPIs)
Site development
Online brand management
Managing use of fundraising sites
Gaming – start and develop relationships with games industry and community

About You

We’re looking for someone who has knock-out digital marketing know-how, great communication abilities, solid campaign and resource-management skills, plus an eye for strategy. We want someone eager to learn who is enthused to be learning as part of a fast-evolving team.

More specifically, we’re looking for a candidate who has:

Significant experience of working in a digital marketing environment
A proven track record of managing large digital marketing projects for a range of clients
A strong working knowledge of the overall digital marketing mix – Email, SEO, PPC, Content, Social & Affiliates
Experience of creating successful digital marketing campaigns across all channels
Strong organisational skills and knowledge of digital marketing trends
Experience of managing large budgets and working with major global clients
Experience of overseeing website development and launches
A good working knowledge of HTML, CSS and CMS systems, including WordPress
Proven ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple digital marketing projects simultaneously
A good working knowledge of the latest Google algorithms, Google Analytics and Google Adwords
Experience with A/B testing would also be an advantage
