how we work

Every time you contact us about a permanent or contract vacancy, a sequence of events is set in motion. This step-by-step guide details what you can typically expect to happen.

  • We discuss the vacancy with the client and review all details of the role.
  • All information about the role, along with any specific client requests, is placed onto our internal system.
  • The role is placed onto the Charity People website and jobs bulletin.
  • We produce - from our database and incoming CVs - a shortlist of potential candidates.
  • We contact each candidate to discuss the role. We ascertain suitability, availability, salary expectations and desire to be considered.
  • We carry out another interview with all remaining candidates. This interview is in-depth, face-to-face, and carried out by one of our experienced consultants.
  • A final shortlist is presented to the client.
  • If the client wants to make an offer, we carry out all negotiations regarding salary, start date and terms of working.
  • We mediate between client and candidate to ensure the latter arrives safely on first day and settles in quickly.
  • We periodically contact the client to ensure everything is going to plan with new employee.
